Main aim of this project is to support quality of youth work by raising competencies of youth workers.
Are you a leader of volunteer projects or youth trainer? Have you ever worked with participants with special needs or fewer opportunities in your activities? And would you like to get more experience to be better prepared next time?
Yes? Second training course within the project “Youthworker 2.0” is here just for you.
The participants will:
– reflect their own attitudes towards inclusion of people with special needs and fewer opportunities in a group
– understand the various disadvantages, their background and how to deal with it if such disadvantage appears in a group
– have space for sharing experience in international context and create new activities or projects.
The training course is based on the experiential and outdoor learning methodology that we’ve been using as methodology for the NFE.
We put stress on practical training with real effects rather than learning theoretical background. The ratio of practical training to theory is 80:20.
We believe the most effective way of learning is by reflecting one’s personal experience. That’s why we focus on group reflections, peer-to-peer feedback and learning from mistakes and success.
This project is financed by the Erasmus+ Programme.
